Pastor & Founder

Lance Anderson  was born on November 26th.  As a son of the grand ‘ole Church of God In Christ, raised by his parents Deacon Joseph and Evangelist Mary Anderson.  Lance was taught the tenants of Holiness and Sanctification as a child, that compelled him to receive salvation at the age of eight years old during a peculiar Sunshine Band prayer meeting.   At the age of 12, Lance parents brought him to New Testament Church of God In Christ.  It was under the tutelage of the late Dr. Nick S. Edwards, Sr. and First Lady Regina R. Edwards, where Lance received his Christian scholastic study.

Being mentored and discipled by Pastor Nick Edwards, Lance attributes to him his desire to be a maven and delve deep into the mysteries of the Word of God.  While a member of New Testament Lance continued to mature in the Purity Class and was mentored and discipled by many great men and women in the gospel.  Pastor Edwards remains one of the great giants in the gospel, whom Lance truly loved and respected; he patterns a great amount of his teaching style after him.

As a result, Lance excelled academically in elementary, middle and high school, serving as a leader of Youth for Christ in high school.  Upon graduation he was afforded a full tuition college scholarship.  He graduated from Lawrence Technological University and was the first student in Lawrence Tech history to receive dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Civil and Mechanical Engineering, with emphasis in Mechanics and Structural Design.  He later received his Master of Civil Engineering from Lawrence Technological University.

Desiring to understand various business aspects of Engineering and Management, along with being a lifelong learner, he received a Master of Arts in Business Administration (MBA) from the Mike Ilitch School of Business at Wayne State University.   Lance currently serves as a Project/Senior Engineer for a leading science and technology firm in Metro-Detroit.  His primary responsibilities are managing large and small projects related to Power Delivery (Substations), along with various infrastructure endeavors.

At New Testament, Lance met and married his high school sweetheart Dennette Gwen Beasley, who is also a daughter of the church.  They celebrated 18 years of holy matrimony on July 31st.  They have a eight-year old daughter, Hailee Grace, who is being raised faithfully in the fear and admonition of the Lord (Ephesians 6:4).  On March 25, 2020 God blessed them to welcome another daughter Liliana Elley to their family.

Lance is saved, sanctified and filled with the Holy Ghost.  He received the Holy Ghost on a Monday night during a 30-day consecration service where he felt the Spirit of God encapsulate him (Judges 6:34) with His power and has been preaching the gospel ever since (Luke 4:18).  The Lord led Lance and his family to Tabernacle of Praise Church of God In Christ (T.O.P) in January 2015 under the leadership of Pastor Robert and Lady Tychinna McKee, Jr.  In March 2016, he was afforded an opportunity to attend the Great Lakes First Ministerial Ordination Institute under the leadership of Bishop Michael E. Hill, Sr. and received and ordained with his Elder's license in August 2016.

During his tenure as an Elder at T.O.P, he served as co-leader of the Youth Department, Anniversary Committee Treasurer, Men's Ensemble member and has received a plethora of opportunities to preach, teach and host youth symposiums during Wednesday evening Bible study and Sunday morning worship.  He would describe the late Pastor Robert and Lady J. Tychinna McKee as magnanimous and paragons of the faith; two vessels anointed for such a time as this.

Throughout Lance's tenure he has served in various capacities in ministry including Sunday School Instructor for College Students, Co-Chairman of the Men's Department, Youth Choir member, Seminar Teacher, Young Men Diversion Program Leader and tutor.  Pastor Lance was selected for the 2020 Church Of God In Christ Auxiliaries in Ministries (A.I.M) C.O.G.I.C 20 Under 40 Achiever's Award (read more here)

In Great Lakes First Jurisdiction of Michigan Pastor Lance currently serves in ministry alongside his wife and ministry Partner Lady Dennette as Founder of Kadosh Ekklesia Church of God in Christ in Warren, Michigan.  He humbly serves on the Ordination Board, President of the Missions Department,  and Director of Church Growth & Development under the capable leadership of General Board Member, Bishop Michael E. Hill, Sr.  In addition, Pastor Lance currently serves as the Lead Architect & Engineer for the Economic Development Group for the Church of God In Christ under the direction of Bishop Darin Burns.

Lance is an avid learner, student, teacher and preacher of the Word of God, for he enjoys delving deep into the illuminated mysteries of God.   Lance has a sincere desire to continue to preach and teach with the spirit of excellence (Daniel 3), as he lives a holy life that is circumspect (Ephesians 5:15-16), which is his ultimate goal.  He aspires to continually walk worthy of the vocation of his calling (John 15:16), striving to have a communal relationship with God as Enoch did (Genesis 5:24).   Lance desires to stand apologetically through sound biblical orthopraxy “…rightly dividing the word of truth…” (2 Timothy 2:15).  He wants to equip the people of God with the tenets of Scripture, contending for the faith (Jude 1:3), striving in His perfection and living a life pleasing to God (Romans 12:1-2).
